TIC was approached by members of Strakonice Town Council supported by a group of citizens who were dissatisfied with long-term development in their town. 

They were especially concerned about the impending debt problem of the town, as a likely consequence of some investment activities as well as routine management of municipal funds. Other issues of concern included the town authorities’ refusal to conduct a financial audit, and the problem of non-balanced contents of media published by the council.
