In Liberec, TIC organised a public debate in collaboration with an association Čmelák, which besides its involvement in environmental issues is also engaged in municipal politics and systemic monitoring of cases of non-transparent and inefficient decision-making and public funds handling in Liberec.
The debate focused on presentation and discussion of perspective future anti-corruption measures and strategies for Liberec proposed by Čmelák, and aimed to encourage further discussion on corruption-related issues and proposed measures among the citizens and candidates for city mayor in the forthcoming municipal elections.
