Risks of Fraud and Corruption: Comparative Study

April of 2018 marked two years since the deadline for the transposition of the EU package of modernized public procurement directives. How has these new EU rules reflected in the legislation and procurement practices of selected EU Member States? The presented publication provides a basic overview and comparison of the legislative framework for public procurement in five EU Member States, namely Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Estonia and the Czech Republic. The purpose of the publication is to highlight some of the strengths and weaknesses of public procurement in these EU countries and to reflect on the possibility of taking them into account in the Czech public procurement practice.
