David Ondráčka, Director (

David Ondráčka studied political economy at the Central European University in Budapest, international relations at Palacky University in Olomouc, political science at Charles University in Prague and political philosophy at NYU in New York. He has been at TIC since 2001, where he took on the position of director in January 2008. He worked previously in public administration. He specializes in issues of political corruption, public procurement and capital expenditures, public administration and public policy reforms. He acts as an expert and consultant for international institutions and organizations in a number of countries in Europe and other regions ranging from the Caucasus Mountains all the way to Mongolia. He lectures on related topics at Czech universities (Charles University and Metropolitan University in Prague, Masaryk University in Brno). He speaks English, French and Polish. In 2009 he received the Alice Garrigue Masaryk Award.

Stanislav Beránek, Project Manager (

Stanislav Beránek has worked at TIC since April 2007. He was coordinator of promotion at the civic association Gaudia Against Cancer from 2006. He has also worked in administration and banking. He focuses on issues concerning the police, justice, clientelism groups and organized crime.

Vladan Brož, TI Legal Advice Centre (

Vladan Brož has a degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and a degree in ethnology from the Philosophy Faculty at Charles University in Prague. After completing his studies he worked as an attorney and head of the legal department at the Counselling Centre for Refugees and as a law clerk in a law firm, where he concluded his term by completing law exams. He has been with TIC since September 2010.

Radim Bureš, Project Manager (

Radim Bureš graduated in philosophy and political economy at the Philosophy Faculty at Charles University. He also studied at Oxford. He then lectured on the history of philosophy and analytical ethics at the Philosophy Faculty at Charles University. Since the mid-1990s he has focused on crime prevention, and worked at the Ministry of the Interior’s Crime Prevention Department. He focused on issues of human rights, prevention of human trafficking, prevention of violence in sports and prevention of corruption. He has made professional study trips to the USA and Great Britain. In 2000 and 2005 he attended the UN World Congresses on Crime Prevention. He has published a number of works in professional journals and presented at a number of international conferences. He has worked at TIC since 2008.

Petr Leyer, Assistant, Legal Advice Centre (

Petr Leyer is a fifth year student at the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. He has worked at the TIC Legal Advice Centre since August 2010. His prior work experience focused on legislation work in the state administration.

 Radka Pavlišová, Attorney, Director of Legal Advice Centre (

Radka Pavlišová is a graduate of the Faculty of Education at the University of Hradec Králové and the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. During and following her studies she worked in a law firm, then in the justice system, where her work experience culminated in completion of professional judiciary exams. She has worked at TIC since May 2010 and concurrently lectures in law at the University of Hradec Králové.
