Projects

Transparency International - Czech Republic (TIC) focuses primarily on exposing and measuring corruption, determining its scope, estimating the losses accruing from it, detecting and highlighting systemic errors, and searching for solutions and ways to improve upon the current situation. Since its establishment, our organisation has initiated and completed a number of projects concerning various areas and issues (corruption in the police force, transparency of arms trade, problems concerning the system of distribution and use of EU structural funds etc.). For more detailed information see Completed projects.

TIC continues to pursue several “permanent” topics, which reflect the key areas of interest to TIC: public procurement, transparent management of public funds, issues cocerning conflicts of interest or political corruption. There are also some new issues that we want to pursue. For example, we want to pay close attention to the practices of pharmaceutical companies and proposed privatization of healthcare system, to communal companies’ financial management and to public funding of sports.

Here we present only a selection of our current projects. Detailed information on our other activities are currently available only in Czech language. If you wish to learn more about TIC or have any specific questions concerning our activities and projects, please contact TIC project managers.
